A Retrospective
Once back from Noordwijk, I was able to catch my breath at home. But I didn't sit still for long, because on Saturday 29 June I left again, this time towards Katwijk for Katwijk en plein air 2024. And yes, it might get a bit monotonous to repeat it all the time, but it remains a great festival! The weather was good, and I spent a lot of time in the beautiful dunes to work there.
The set-up in Katwijk is slightly different from that in Noordwijk. For example, you stay together with other artists in a park, which not only makes it more intensive in terms of experience, but also extra special and valuable. Sharing experiences and inspiration together really adds something to the creative process. The works of art that we made during the week will be collected and exhibited in the Duna studio.
Good news: the exhibition can still be visited! Until 22 September 2024, you are most welcome to admire the result of the hard work of more than eighteen artists. It has become an impressive collective exhibition that you certainly do not want to miss.
