I made these paintings just around the corner, in a place where inspiration was closer than you might think. Sometimes the subject is so close that you only have to look to see it. I chose this location because of the beautiful light and the idyllic path that runs there. While I painted, it was completely silent, except for the company of countless birds that accompanied my work. It was a moment of peace and beauty, captured on canvas.
