As beautifully as the dark clouds began to gather above my head, a thunderstorm is on the horizon. The sky is slowly turning gray and heavy, a sign of the power of nature about to erupt. The impressive interplay of light and shadow, combined with the ominous calm before the storm, brings a moment of wonder. Although thunderstorms are often associated with danger, they are also a beautiful natural phenomenon that reminds us how powerful and unpredictable the world around us can be. Sometimes you just have to pause and enjoy the unfolding spectacle.
