Bumble bee whisper

The weather offered perfect outdoor conditions, featuring calm winds and a pleasant temperature. Consequently, we seized the opportunity to spend some time outside. Fortunately, we discovered a stunning field of poppies on Öland. Reaching the location was somewhat adventurous, as it required traversing the field and climbing a few stone walls. However, the effort was undoubtedly worthwhile, as the site proved to be breathtakingly picturesque.

It was remarkable to witness such an abundance of poppies concentrated within a single field. The serene environment allowed me to paint undisturbed, accompanied only by the gentle hum of countless bumblebees and bees in the vicinity...

The art of beginnings

The easel is ready, the canvas is ready to receive paint, I see the grasses waving softly on the canvas...

The moment when everything comes together: inspiration, materials and a blank canvas that asks for a story. The easel stands firm, the canvas is silent but full of promise. It is as if nature itself is already softly outlined in the mind, with waving grasses and a world full of details waiting to be captured. Each brushstroke brings the image to life, layer by layer, color by color. Art begins here, in the silence of preparation, where patience and vision come together. You only have to take that first step, and the rest will follow.
