Moments in nature
The sun was shining brightly, there was no wind and no one around. The perfect moment for a creative burst, I thought. But there was one unexpected challenge: big ants. My van was parked right next to a large ant nest. Despite that, I couldn’t resist the chance to unpack my painting supplies in this special place. Determined, I tucked my pants into my socks, convinced that everything would be fine. A few meters away, away from the ant nest, I set up my easel.
While painting, I received countless visits from curious ants, but that didn’t stop me from fully enjoying this unique moment in nature. The peace, the silence and the sunlight were enchanting, and it gave me inspiration that I didn’t want to miss...
